donk's keyboard history

donk's keyboard path has three stops. He started the table with a HyperX Alloy Origins Core in early 2023 and used it for under a year. In December 2023 he moved to the Logitech G Pro X Keyboard, which became his long-term board and the one he stayed on the longest.

In June 2026 he changed to the Wooting 80HE+ Frost with Lekker Tikken Medium switches. The change was noticed around the IEM Cologne Major 2026. Wooting's official post later shared his setup: an 80HE module in the 80HE Frost case with Tikken Medium switches. Escorenews reported that donk said he plays a custom-made keyboard similar to the Wooting 80HE.

The form factor stayed the same through the changes. What changed is the switch technology and how much the board lets him tune.

Switches and actuation

The Wooting 80HE+ Frost is a hotswappable board that supports six switch options: Lekker Linear 45 v2, Lekker Linear 60 v2, Lekker Tikken Light, Lekker Tikken Medium, Geon Raw HE and Wooting x TTC KOM. donk runs the Lekker Tikken Medium, according to Wooting's post. The hotswappable PCB means you can try any of the other options on the same board without soldering.

On actuation, Escorenews reports that donk uses Rapid Trigger with activation points from 1.5 mm down to 0.4 mm. That is a wide range for one player, and it shows the board is set up around adjustable actuation rather than a single fixed travel distance.

Wooting's post also included a profile code, 14867b251ec6bd47514f576aa547df5e7289. It lets you load the same profile on your own board.

Should you buy donk's keyboard?

The 80HE+ Frost is a released board, so it can be bought. It is a TKL, which suits players who want the function keys and arrow cluster but no numpad. It is also a low-profile board for its class, so it works well if you dislike a tall keyboard. The hotswappable PCB is a plus if you want to experiment with switches.

The alternatives trade off like this:

If you want to copy donk's setup, choose the Wooting boards and pick Tikken Medium switches. The other two give you adjustable actuation, but you are tied to their switches.
