Why aspas uses the ATK RS6 Ultra Aspas Edition, in aspas's words

The switch to ATK came from a partnership rather than from a spec-sheet comparison. aspas became an ATK ambassador, and the keyboard is the result of working with the brand on a custom board. He explained it himself in an X post from February 2025:

I've never been one to talk about gear because I understand the responsibility of recommending a good peripheral. I've been using and talking with ATK for almost a year, and today I can say with responsibility that it was the…

In short, he spent almost a year testing with ATK before the Aspas Edition appeared, and it replaced the Wooting 60HE+ he had used before.

ATK × Aspas RS6 Ultra vs the standard model

The Aspas Edition is mostly a styling and switch-choice package. According to ATK's store page for the board, it comes in a purple and gold colourway with Aspas-themed keycaps, a signature badge and stickers, a limited gift box and a Champion Preset.

The switch choice matters more. The signature version offers an ASPAS Custom Gateron Jade Gaming Max switch, alongside TTC RGB Magneto. The same store page says the standard RS6 shares the core speed specs: 65% layout, 8000 Hz polling and 0.001 mm rapid trigger. If you only care about performance, the standard model gives you the same foundation. The signature edition adds the look and the switch option he plays.

aspas's keyboard history

His early keyboard history is a back-and-forth between Logitech boards. He started on the G915 TKL White, moved to the G Pro X Keyboard, and in August 2023 bounced between those two and the Wooting 60HE+ within a few weeks. He then returned briefly to the G Pro X.

The Wooting 60HE+ became the first board he stayed with: from November 2023 to February 2025, about 15 months. The ATK RS6 Ultra Aspas Edition has now run for over 20 months, which makes it his longest stretch on a single keyboard in this history.

Switches and actuation

The Aspas Edition uses Gateron Jade Gaming switches, and the board is hotswappable. That means you can try other switches without soldering. ATK's store page lists the ASPAS Custom Gateron Jade Gaming Max as the signature option, with TTC RGB Magneto as the alternative.

On the actuation side, ATK's store page lists 0.001 mm rapid trigger, which is what matters for quick counter-strafing and re-taps in a shooter like VALORANT. It shares that with the standard RS6.

Key binds

His VALORANT binds are close to the default layout, so you can copy them without relearning much. Movement stays on the left hand with Shift for walk and Ctrl for crouch. Weapon slots stay on 1 to 4, and abilities sit on C, Q, E and X, all within reach of the movement keys. Jump has a second binding alongside Space, and use is on F.

Should you buy aspas's keyboard?

The 65% form factor suits players who want a compact board for gaming but would rather not lose the dedicated keys of a smaller layout. The hotswappable PCB also lets you change switches later. It is a good fit if you like a signature look and the Gateron Jade Gaming switches he plays. If you only want the same speed specs without the colourway, ATK's store page says the standard RS6 shares them. ATK also lists an RS6 Air ATK × ASPAS, a plastic-case signature version.
